Our Approach:

Step 1 - Collect Pickleballs

Step 1 - Collect Pickleballs

Step 1 - Collect Pickleballs

We are currently working with pickleball players and clubs from Maine to Florida to collect used and broken pickleballs.  Contact us if you want to help collect!

Step 1 - Collect Pickleballs

We have ground up, melted down and recycled balls with a test lab and commercial recyclers. This has given us real world data on the material properties of recycled pickleballs.

Step 3 - Engage Stakeholders

Step 3 - Engage Stakeholders

With data in hand, we are now reaching out to key stakeholders that have a vested interest in recycling pickleballs to seek support.

Step 4 - Expand the Pilot

Step 6 - Celebrate Success!

Step 3 - Engage Stakeholders

We will continue to expand collection points to get more balls, more data and further prove the concept: that people will recycle pickleballs if given the opportunity!.

Step 5 - Scale Up

Step 6 - Celebrate Success!

Step 6 - Celebrate Success!

The ideal end state is to have national partners that will collect balls and get them back to recycling partners.  We need a network of drop off points so everyone has access to recycling.

Step 6 - Celebrate Success!

Step 6 - Celebrate Success!

We look forward to the day when recycling pickleballs is part of every player's routine and products made from pickleballs are available for purchase - fully closing the loop.
